The parish has participated in the Annual Parish Retreat at Bishop’s Ranch in Healdsburg in the past.
The weekend is always filled with many activities to foster friendships and fellowship, plus plenty of time for reflection and prayer. We usually begin with a Friday night barbecue.
Saturday’s program can include multiple options from which to choose. Past activities have included a music session on the hand bells, art projects, and yoga and meditation sessions. After free time on Saturday afternoon, we collect together that evening in the Swing Pavilion for activities that have included movie night, game night, and square dancing. Sunday includes morning worship in the beautiful Bishop’s Ranch Chapel, plus time to relax and enjoy the area before heading home.
The full Parish Retreat spans Friday night to mid-day Sunday, but coming for the day is also an option to join in the special time to build lasting friendships and share in the community. All are welcome to come and be part of the Parish Retreat.
