We enjoyed a lovely Mother’s Day coffee hour, and admired the many items donated for new mothers at the Homeless Prenatal Program.
Twenty-eight individuals/families from our St. Francis community contributed 244+ baby items valued at over $2500 to this year’s event! All the items will be donated this month to San Francisco’s Homeless Prenatal Program. It is heartwarming that such a terrific collection of useful and adorable baby items was received to benefit low income/homeless families. The donations included Clipper cards, grocery store gift cards, baby health care kits, baby shampoo, body wash, lotion, bath blankets, wash cloths, bibs, diapers, swimsuit diaper, fresh food feeders, pacifiers, maternity pillow, books, rattles, stuffed animals, knitted, fleece, and flannel blankets, sleeper gowns, sleeper bags, a dress, shirts, pants, knitted vests, knitted sweaters, knitted hat, knitted booties, and bodysuits/onesies in 3 different sizes and styles!
