At St. Francis’ Episcopal Church, all people are welcome, and all means all.
We believe that all people are created in the image of God.
We believe that God’s radically inclusive love excludes no one.
We welcome everyone without exception, regardless of age, race, ethnic background, nationality, gender identity, sexual orientation, family or socioeconomic status, educational background, affiliation, physical or mental disability, faith history or life experience.
We believe that the diversity of God’s creation is part of what makes us beautiful.
St. Francis’ is committed to gender equality, racial justice and LGBTQIA+ inclusion. Because many members of the LGBTQIA+ community, particularly trans and non-binary people, have trouble finding a church that is safe for them, we believe it’s important to be clear about what we mean when we say that LGBTQIA+ persons are fully welcome at St. Francis’. This means they are welcome to be baptized, have their children baptized, become members and participants in worship, parish groups and activities and take on leadership roles, including the office of the priest. We perform same sex weddings – all of us are invited to share the gift of love in a committed and faithful relationship.
No matter who you are, where you are from or what you believe, you are always welcome at St. Francis’.
