A group from St. Francis’s cooked for and served dinner to the veterans at DeMontfort House yesterday. It was a wonderful event. The Blessing of the Animals takes place in the fall during the week of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. As the namesake of both our church and our city, we hold St. Francis of Assisi’s legacy of respect and kindness towards animals especially close to our hearts!
