Thirty one volunteers from St Francis’, De Monfort House, Girl Scouts, and the neighborhood spent the morning pruning, cleaning, scrubbing, and painting. The church looks amazing and we are so thankful for their hard work.

The 4th of July Sunday service was our first service back in church which included music. The service was followed by a courtyard BBQ.
We’ve been fortunate to welcome several newcomers during the pandemic. How amazing to experience church not as a building but a gathered people of God! St. Francis’ held its first in-church service since the beginning of the pandemic on Pentecost Sunday. Following guidelines from the diocese and the San Francisco Department of Public Health, masks, health surveys, and social distancing outside of household groups were required.
