Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner

Shrove Tuesday, also known as Mardi Gras, is celebrated the day before Ash Wednesday and the beginning of the Season of Lent. Our annual pancake dinner at St. Francis’ Episcopal includes beads, mask making, a pancake flipping contest, and, of course, lots of pancakes.

Giving Tree Gifts are a Hit!

Residents of Episcopal Community Services Shelters in San Francisco received holiday gifts from St. Francis’ parishioners.  The gifts are personalized for each resident, so everyone gets just what they wanted!  

Holiday Dinner for Veterans

A group from St. Francis’s cooked for and served dinner to the veterans at DeMontfort House yesterday. It was a wonderful event. Giving Tree Success!

St. Francis’ was able to fully meet its goal of 128 gifts for residents of Episcopal Community Services shelters.  Thank you for your generosity and support of this important mission.  

Blessing of the Animals

The Blessing of the Animals takes place in the fall during the week of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.  As the namesake of both our church and our city, we hold St. Francis of Assisi’s legacy of respect and kindness towards animals especially close to our hearts!
