Donations Needed: Another Shipment to Ukraine, May 1st
Dear St. Francis Community,
What a tremendous outpouring of care for the people of Ukraine we had for our last donations drive! Our partnership with Humanitarian Aid: Hearts For Ukraine through Grains For Good was fortuitous: a sponsored cargo plane filled with 130 large boxes of critical goods for refuges, families and medical personnel left the USA and arrived in the Ukraine on April 12th. There is a newscast of this effort online that is so real and stunning, and shows our donations being offloaded for the people in Ukraine.

There is another shipment planned for this Sunday, May 1st! This shipment will consist of critical medical supplies and in the daily calls, there is consistent need for relief to treat and feed animals impacted by the war. The abandoned pets, by owners who had little choice, are being sheltered, fed and being given medical attention by hard-working volunteers, and supplies are definitely needed.
Here is the website of Hearts For Ukraine which includes the donation lists and the short news clips.
