New Leadership at St. Francis’ Episcopal

The vestry would like to announce the new leadership who will continue our smooth time of transition.

After consulting with the diocese and reviewing candidates, the vestry has called the Rev. Bob Kossler as Long Term Supply Clergy. He will serve as acting rector during the remainder of the search. Father Kossler will be well known to most. He has served at this parish as non-stipendary clergy and has been associated with St. Francis’ for 15 years, while holding a senior position at Hewlett-Packard. He knows the parish well and comes to us with a wealth of experience, ability, systems, and worship leadership.

The vestry has elected Maryla Salt as Senior Warden. Maryla will serve out the current term until the annual meeting in January 2020. Maryla brings a wealth of parish experience. She has served as Senior Warden previously and has led during a previous rector search. Maryla serves on the Facilities Committee and the Altar Guild and knows our people, plant, and sacred spaces well.

Please welcome these new leaders as we rejoice in their new ministries!

Loving Lord, we thank you that you have seen fit to place these ministers into new roles of leadership in the parish of St. Francis’. Guide and encourage us in ways that support them. Continue to equip us all to be faithful servants, empowering us to share the good news of the glorious gospel of Christ and witness to the amazing grace whereby we are sanctified and sustained in your holy name. Amen.
