2019 Stewardship Campaign
With Countless Gifts of Love
In October our attention turns to creation and all that we have been given by our Creator God. We begin the month celebrating our patronal feast of St. Francis with a service to bless beloved animals in our lives. We reflect on our roles as their caregivers and on our related roles as stewards of God’s creation, and indeed of all that gives our lives depth, and resource, and meaning.
This year’s stewardship campaign takes its theme from the hymn Now thank we all our God and particularly the lines “with countless gifts of love.” The kick-off for the campaign falls on Sunday, October 21 with the Ingathering on Sunday, November 11. In the intervening weeks we will hear from parishioners about how they pledge to support the ongoing financial and spiritual life of the congregation.
As you think about your pledge for 2019, please take time to pray and listen to what you are being called to give. Your pledged gift allows the leadership of the parish to make responsible decisions for the ongoing life of the church and our ability to minister in San Francisco and beyond.
Please note: We are ever in the process of updating our parish rolls and making sure that contact information is good and current. If you don’t receive a mailing by the first of November, please let the office know. We don’t want you to be left out of the opportunity to support this community in its life and reach.
