We held our annual Blessing of the Animals on St. Francis of Assisi’s Feast Day, Sunday, October 4th. Many enthusiastic dogs and two indifferent chickens came to the in-person, Covid-safe blessing outside of our church. Many, many cats preferred to receive their blessings digitally over Zoom, which means quite a few more cats were blessed this year than normally. Scroll down to the bottom to hear the commentary.
